Bowls, fountains and capacity
Choose a bowl wide enough that your cat's whiskers do not touch the sides - whisker fatigue is real and cats will eat less from a narrow bowl. For fountains, 2 L suits one cat for two to three days; go larger for more cats or longer gaps between refills.
Care instructions
- Wash food and water bowls daily in warm soapy water and rinse well.
- Change fountain water every two to three days and clean the pump housing weekly.
- Replace carbon filters every two to four weeks, sooner in a hard-water area.
- Check for mould in the pump tubing - it is the most common fountain failure.
