About this product
A scratcher that gives a cat somewhere to scratch that is not the sofa — a cat scratches; the only question is where.
Why cat owners love it
- Gives claws a proper outlet, which saves your sofa and door frames
- The right surface lets a cat shed the outer nail layer cleanly
- Doubles as a stretch and territory marker a cat returns to daily
- Sturdy build resists tipping under a hard, full-body pull
Key features
- Weight: 520 g
Sizing & care
Vacuum loose fibre regularly and rotate the surface so wear stays even. Replace the pad or board once it is shredded, so your cat does not go back to the furniture.

Choosing the right scratcher
For an upright scratcher, the post should be taller than your cat is long, so it can stretch to full height. For a flat scratcher, the pad should be wider than the cat's body. Stability matters more than size: a scratcher that rocks or slides will not be used twice.
Care instructions
- Rotate or flip cardboard pads - many are reversible and last about twice as long.
- Vacuum sisal posts to lift packed hair; replace the post once the rope is shredded to the core.
- Check the base and fixings monthly and tighten anything loose.
- Place the scratcher where your cat already scratches, not where you would like it to.
