Toy safety and sizing
Toy size matters more than most people expect: anything small enough to be swallowed whole is a choking risk. As a rule, a toy should be too large to pass through your cat's mouth without effort. Wand and string toys should be long enough that you can play without your hand becoming the target.
Care instructions
- Inspect for loose parts, split seams and exposed wire before every play session.
- Put string, ribbon and wand toys away after play - swallowed string is a surgical emergency.
- Replace catnip toys once the filling stops holding its scent.
- Wipe plastic and rubber toys; hand wash fabric toys and air dry.
